We have been pretty busy with development and getting ready for new production here in the USA. Now we are looking to open the shop side to the public. We have been super busy around the shop gearing up for the new product lineup that will release late this year early next year, but we still found some time to play with the GTR. The exhuast was all built in house by hand custom full Titanium catback. I was really happy with the result of our hard work and wanted to share some pictures of the final product.
We have been spending a lot of time on the Time Attack RX-8 these past few weeks and its really starting to show. The new engine is installed and running on our Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 ecu. Some small detail work and then we can start tuning it on our in house dyno. Also finished up the alignment and chassis setup so its all ready for testing after we finish break in and dyno tuning.
Cooling system was completely redone this time with new intercooler core and custom piping all done in house, as well as full duct work for the radiator, intercooler, oil coolers, brakes. There is a lot of small details in here that should make for a reliable setup.
Welcome to our new blog! I’d like to take a moment to introduce us here at JIC-Magic/Ziel Motorsports. We are a leading suspension manufacturer in the United States and while lately there have been some rumors floating around regarding our Japanese counterpart are still here and going strong. JIC-Magic Japan has recently claimed bankrupcy and while we are a completely seperate company we will still be offering rebuild services on old inventory monotube dampers. We have had plans in the works for some time now to start manufacturing in the United States and will have a product line available very soon featuring not only single way adjustable dampening coilover kits but also 2-way and 3-way.
We aren’t just a suspension manufacturer though, we have been heavily involved in motorsports and also have our own race team including Time Attack, and Drifting. Ziel Motorsports is the core of our racing team, as the shop side of the business we not only build our own race cars but run a fully functioning race shop in Alhambra, CA. We have the ability to do everything from chassis fabrication, engine building, and custom suspension. We are always accepting jobs and I will post some of our more exciting customer builds on the blog in the future.
